Optometric Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with their optical and eye-care requirements in a friendly and professional manner.
• Support optometrists and optical staff during daily operations.
• Assist with basic pre-testing and prepare customers for eye examinations under supervision.
• Help customers select suitable frames and optical products based on their needs.
• Assist with stock handling, product displays and maintaining an organised outlet.
• Learn and develop practical knowledge of optical products, eye-care services and related procedures through on-the-job training.

Requirements

• School leavers are encouraged to apply.
• G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) – Any Stream.
• Good Passes for G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) Science, Mathematics and English subjects.
• Female candidates are preferred for this position.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
