Job Overview

AIA Sri Lanka, Kadawath Branch is seeking a results-driven and people-oriented Wealth Planner Manager to lead, support, and develop a team of Wealth Planners. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, achieving production targets, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

The role also involves developing client relationships, providing financial planning guidance, and supporting the team in delivering suitable insurance, investment, and wealth protection solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Wealth Planners to achieve individual and team production targets.
• Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop team members to improve their sales performance and professional capabilities.
• Support Wealth Planners in identifying client needs and recommending appropriate financial planning, insurance, savings, and investment solutions.
• Develop strategies to increase business production, expand the client base, and achieve monthly and quarterly performance objectives.
• Monitor team performance, review business results, and implement action plans to improve productivity.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and support the team in managing key client relationships.
• Guide team members in preparing financial proposals, conducting client meetings, and maintaining effective follow-up practices.
• Ensure the team provides professional, customer-focused service and adheres to AIA's compliance standards and ethical practices.
• Stay updated on AIA products, industry developments, market trends, and relevant regulatory changes.
• Participate in management meetings, training programs, and performance reviews.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong leadership, team management, coaching, and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of financial planning, investments, insurance products, and wealth management solutions.
• Strong sales management, business development, and target-achievement capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Academic qualifications in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field are beneficial.
• Professional qualifications in financial planning or insurance are an advantage.
• Previous experience in financial services, insurance sales, wealth management, sales leadership, or team management is highly valued.
• Ability to motivate teams, build client relationships, manage performance, and maintain high ethical and compliance standards.
